Now Is Yoga Time was born from a moment of truth — a quiet realization that the life I was living was no longer the life I wanted to carry forward.
For many years, I worked in IT. Fast-paced, demanding, always “on.” Somewhere along the way, I lost my sense of balance. I tried to fill the emptiness with alcohol, marijuana, and constant stimulation — anything to feel better for a moment. But the relief never lasted.
What was left was the exhaustion.
The burnout.
The feeling that I was drifting away from myself.
Yoga arrived slowly, almost silently. Not as a perfect practice, but as a lifeline — a way back to inner steadiness. Through breath, movement, and stillness, I began to feel something I hadn’t felt in years: peace.
Yoga changed my body, but more importantly, it changed my way of being. I started eating better. I became more patient, more open, more able to understand others. I felt a growing desire to help, not just to achieve. To live with intention, not escape from myself.
This is also why I create Inner Sanctuary Music. Because sound, just like breath, can guide us home. It helped me reconnect with my inner world — and I know it can help others too.
Over time, a quiet dream began to form:
to open a yoga studio on Madeira — a place shaped by nature, presence, and simplicity.
A sanctuary where people can slow down, reconnect, and remember who they are beneath the noise.
This vision guides everything I create here.
Every word, every practice, every piece of music is a small step toward that space.
Now Is Yoga Time is my way of giving back. A space for anyone who feels overwhelmed, tired, or simply curious about a different way of living. A reminder that you don’t have to rush. You don’t have to push. You don’t have to numb yourself to get through the day.
You can live simply.
You can live mindfully.
You can be vegan and strong and healthy.
You can choose presence over pressure.
Here, you’ll find words, practices, and music created with one intention: to offer a moment of calm, a breath of clarity, a sense that life can be softer than you think.
My own grounding comes from daily meditation, yoga practice, spiritual study, and giving my best in the work I do. These small rituals keep me aligned — and I hope they inspire you to find your own.
If this space feels like home, you’re welcome to stay, explore, and return whenever you need a moment of stillness.
Now Is Yoga Time. Because the moment you return to yourself is always now.
